Adapted from the owner's notes dated 30 September 2026. Distances are the owner's rough nearby references, not measured navigation routes. Confirm opening, prices and availability each time.

Jiangnan Yi

江南驿

Owner's approximate distance: 30 m from the homestay

One of Taige's frequently suggested nearby places. His starting dishes are pepper-and-sesame chicken (椒麻鸡), pork ribs with fermented red bean curd (南乳仔排), and cumin spinach (孜然菠菜).

The chicken may be spicy and numbing. Ask about heat, sesame and other allergens before ordering.

Yunhe Lou

韵河楼

Opposite Jiangnan Yi; owner's approximate distance: 40 m

Another nearby option for local Hangzhou dishes. Taige's notes highlight Qiandao Lake crucian carp (千岛湖生态鲫鱼), beef brisket with baby potatoes (牛腩土豆仔), and braised pork (外婆红烧肉).

Whole fish contains bones. Confirm the current dishes and portion sizes.

Shan Dian Shui

山点水

Next to Yunhe Lou; owner's approximate distance: 60 m

Taige's notes suggest beef head meat (牛头肉), iron-pot fish (铁锅鱼), and mandarin fish in chicken broth (鸡汁桂鱼). Ask about portion sizes before deciding how much to order.

Mandarin fish is a fish, not a citrus dish; the chicken-broth preparation is not vegetarian.

Miao Ti Hu

妙醍醐

West side of Xiangji Temple square; confirm the entrance on the day's map

A vegetarian buffet option in Taige's notes, including vegetable pancakes, corn pancakes and stir-fried glass noodles. Vegetarian does not automatically mean vegan or allergen-free; ask about individual dishes.

The price in the original notes is not a live website quote. Confirm the current buffet price and availability.
